Favorite Alien Blu-Ray Version?

I used to own the Quadrilogy DVD boxset but gave it my brother-in-law when I bought the Anthology Blu-ray (something I've posted previously on here about and regretting it). I do own a VHS boxset of the first 3 films (a freebie from my old neighbour who was a VHS collector and said I could pick what I wanted from his stash for doing him a big favour looking after his chooks whilst he was on holiday).

The Anthology boxset is bloody brilliant though.

Agreed. The Anthology release is still my favourite feature film boxed set.

I'm keeping all my ALIEN home video releases for the bonus content. I don't want to lose anything.

Hoping DISNEY will do something special for ALIEN's fiftieth anniversary.

* The Quadrilogy release had an outtake from the original film (Brett's death) that wasn't carried over to the Anthology set. Hope you ripped the file before giving the set away?

I didn't but knowing my brother-in-law, he'd give it back to me in a heartbeat but I feel like a bit of a turd asking for it. I might just buy a used copy off Ebay

It's on the 2003 Resurrection disc, within the three-hours documentary. Perhaps you could get that disc by itself?

I'd also hang onto the original 1999 ALIEN DVD for the production audio.

By the way, I received that AvP 2-disc set, and went through ALL the bonus features - and still couldn't find that elusive outtake from ALIEN (Alien in the corridor).

Looks like you might be right about it being some sort of exclusive material found on the internet only. Bummer.
