This is great because Marlin was struggling under Remington, this is bad because Marlin is a huge money maker for me because my company doesn't carry Ruger

I hope the people who got h&r will finally bring back the handi rifles.

As someone that works in the industry I'll tell you to buy now and in bulk, the shortage is gonna hit hard soon. It's not that there's a brass and lead shortage, that's bullshit, its that the demand is blowing production out of the water. Our rep at Hornady told us that by November their warehouse will probably be empty

Damn, I guess I was right to invest in a reloading kit this winter. I'll try to gather as much ammo as possible before the shortage hits so that I'll have a bigger reserve of ready rounds/future brass donors, but I'm not going to be completely lost when the shelves will dry up.

If you're in the US you wont have to worry as much, you guys get priority on all ammunition and firearms, here in canada we get the scraps. You still have time

Master Chief

We're still in a shortage over here.  Dang COVID and election year!   >:(

Here's my mother's .380 Highpoint

AliceApocalypse

That's nice!

Master Chief

Cool!

Duracote, cerakote, or hydro dip?

High Points are the ultimate enigma. The triggers are terrible, the weight is all over the place, it looks like a brick, it feels like a brick, but for $200 you can own a handgun that has literally been shot with another gun and continued to work no problem. The incredible customer support is also a bonus.

Oh yeah, my mom said that it feels like she's carrying a brick in her purse. She has a holster but doesn't use it for that reason. It still makes for a nice defense weapon against coyotes looking to snack on our chickens.

I honestly almost bought one for $95 just for the meme value

Well, at least they come with a good repair warranty.
