I agree predxeno, I think they need to offer us fans a bit more in terms of releasing more content, DLC maps, character skins and extra easter eggs. I think this game should introduce a lot more.
A simple statue would be fine, maybe a concept art album or something.
For dlc... I don't know what they're planning for the game itself but I'd imagine it'd be a recreation of a scene from one of the films that doesn't fit in with the main storyline. That or a dlc colonial marine character... with a pulse rifle, investigating the aftermath, catch is there is no alien, so he's got nothing to shoot , purely a novelty level, the tension expecting an alien and jumping at shadows would be the key to the level. maybe he explores the deserted ship and it starts to fall apart, it's a race against time to get to various safe zones. He might need various tools that ripley had but he's only got a useless pulse rifle so he has to go the long way
good quality and highly detailed 8"-12" statue of the alien also a physical soundtrack and steelbook
with all the DRM/C.R.A.P. out there i want something tangible for my money; tired of paying for digital extras where i have to agree that the company has the right to take away what i paid for and i cant do anything about it, legally or otherwise.
I've got a feeling we will be donning the suit in game (its on the cover, after all); that shouldn't be an alternate skin.
Also, including some new weapon in the pre-order would be kind of weird/useless considering we can't kill the Alien, and even if it's a weapon that is better at distracting/halting the Alien's advances than what we have already, I can't imagine it being that much of an incentive for people to buy.
One the other hand, as mentioned, a Weyland-Yutani wings patch and a Seegson Corporation patch are pretty likely. Other things I can imagine being small enough to include - perhaps a "can" of W/Y Aspen beer? Or one of those white mugs with the Weyland-Yutani/Seegson logo printed on it? Perhaps a poster map of the Sevastopol's layout (I think seen briefly in the demo) or a model of the Sevastopol itself.
Non PC special editions will get a plushie egg and a nostromo or WY patch. PC US wont get jack for physical goodies and PC UK will get a little Narcissus model.
All collectors versions will get the standard alternate Alien skins and probably a suited version of the player so you can take less damage but your vision is limited and build up condensation on the visor after running.
for DLC itll be something with "a" derelict so we can go jump n their egg storage with the blue beams intact and "authentic" sound effectz for it.
For AVP2010 and A:CM, we had multiplayer skins, customization, and weapons most of which was dedicated to enhancing multiplayer. Since Alien: Isolation is confirmed to not have any mp, we'll be getting different kinds of DLC I'm sure. I think we'll be getting an Alien statue as a centerpiece for the Collector's Edition; the entire game seems dedicated to paying homage to the original movie and a statue of the famous Alien makes sense. Hopefully, we'll get a steelbook this time (unlike in A:CM which found continuous ways to screw fans over). As for the DLC, maybe we'll get bonus tools/weapons in our fight for survival against the Alien, I hope it's more than just different skins and costumes for Amanda Ripley and the other characters.
