I think I finally found a way to make a 28mm Call from Alien Resurrection!

This upcoming set from Wargames Atlantic has the right head, weaponry and bodies:

Thank you!  I've got 8 out of 12 glued so far.

Alright, I got this done a couple days ago, and have been trying to get this burner phone to take a half way decent picture or two since then. But without a macro setting or even manual focus, it just isn't happening. My next post will be a very detailed (by necessity, since there's no pictures) step by step on how I got it looking like a NECA brown warrior.

No problem. I assembled and primed one but haven't done the colours yet. I'm having some nasty pain problems at the moment so it may take me a day or two to actually get it finished. When I do, I'll post the method alongside which paints I used with both branded and generic names (ie; scorched brown/chocolate brown).

Thank you, that's very nice of you to help me.

I do have experience painting models, I do have a decent amount of wargaming stuff, it's just that my best is "Getting the paint on the right area"

I remember talking about something related to this with you before, and unless I'm misremembering, you have some experience painting models right? If I get the time today I'll dig out a brown NECA warrior and paint one up to match it, and pass the recipe on to you.

Although any pics will be potato-tier.

I was wanting to make them brownish, like that Neca one I'm using for my fanfilm

I've not had the chance to paint these, but they're based on the same CAD files as the Prodos resin ones, of which I have painted over a hundred in various schemes. Do you know what kind of vibe or "look" you want for them?

IE; neutral black, metallic, blue-toned, glossy, brown, etc?

How are you lot painting your Xenomorphs? I glued the first of mine today after they were sitting on a pile of stuff to be glued for a few weeks.

Once you factor in weight/size, it gets bad fast. Last time I sent something to Australia for a private sale, pre-covid, it was about 80 grams weight (it was a small Warhammer conversion kit) and the size of two matchboxes, and even that was $15. A big heavy box or boxes full of cardboard would quickly approach the cost of the items themselves in my experience, not to mention what SiL said.

Hahaha next door, he might as well be in Antarctica at the moment. We can't even deliver things internally.

I haven't checked recently, but last time I did the shipping was prohibitive.

Still never heard back from GF9 after the order I placed with them a year ago.

Still nobody in NZ stocking anything to do with this.
