Thats what the fourth film was supposed to be called but nothing came of it. Its such a cool title and I would like to see Mel coming back to play Max one last time, I just wish they would do a fourth one still.
I remember they were gonna make and then it stopped, such a shame.

They were going to shoot it in Namibia of all places.

I don't think it's been abandoned, but it's not going anywhere at present.

We live near a lot of the locations of the original film, so I'd love to see another one.

That was a shame to hear that it got canceled. I read somewhere George Miller still wants to do another film, but more than likely with a new actor as Max.

This news really pisses me off its great that Mels older it works well, a rugerdy and older man still kicking ass as a wonderer in the wastelands. If there making Indiana jones 4 and rocky and rambo and also terminator 3 then why no mel gibson.
