We’re all awaiting more on the upcoming FX Alien: Earth series after a couple of brief (very brief) teaser trailers hit the internet.
With next summer’s release of the show confirmed, the post-production phase is in full-swing. One of the most crucial phases of that stage is the recording of music, and composer Jeff Russo will be handling that for Alien: Earth
Russo has an extensive history of television music production, including multiple science fiction shows such as recent Star Trek series, For All Mankind, and Altered Carbon.
He also has previously collaborated with Alien: Earth showrunner Noah Hawley, composing for both Legion and Fargo.
From our occasional internet sleuthing on the series, we recently came across a post of his which gives a short clip of one of the recording sessions for the Alien: Earth score. Check it out below!
We’re definitely getting some James Horner vibes from that build up.
Russo also shared a photo with his team in front of famed Abby Road Studios celebrating the completion of Season 1’s musical recording.

Team London. What an incredible time recording at @abbeyroadstudios recording score for #AlienEarth. Pictures and vids to come.
