As said previously by Darkness, we can't implement a block feature. Our boards are an off-the-shelf software, and we can only use what plugins and features are developed by the developers.
I was originally alarmed at the post that caused this most recent discussion, but I thought it quickly became apparent this was a knowledge thing. I think it's entirely unfair that trans people have to educate so many of us because our own education systems didn't, but I do not believe Cruentus was speaking with any deliberate malice or transphobia.
