I genuinely do not remember that.

I feel lucky for that.
Some kind of wormhole portal nonsense in the beginning
I completely forgot about that shit... And now I'm upset.

haha agreed - that movie doesn't exist in my mind.

SiL

I'm cursed to remember things from movies I don't even like.

Nightmare Asylum

I'm going to do something insane and masochistic this year, in the buildup to Badlands. Since it seems like that film is building towards a proper AVP movie sooner rather than later, I'm going to make myself, just this once, revisit the whole onslaught of existing Predator/AVP stuff. That means tackling AVP 2004, which I haven't seen in probably close to fifteen years, and also... AVPR and The Predator, both of which I have only seen one single time in my life and have nothing but miserable memories of. :-\

Remind myself of where we're coming from before taking the next step into where we're going, etc. etc. I shall not avert my gaze. Pray for me.

BigDaddyJohn

I personally have a bit more fun watching The Predator than AVPR.

Ouch that is going to be rough. One positive is that since those movies are so bad that when Badlands comes out even if it turns out to be just average it will appear to be a masterpiece in comparison to what you just endured.

Mate. My DMs are open always. Here for you if you need to chat after enduring all that  ;D  ;D  ;D

Actually in all seriousness what is annoying about those films is one can see how they could've been something really good but for some stupid writing, poor acting and stuff I can't put into words.

Has someone done a cut of AVPR minus the humans as I really enjoy the Wolf and Xeno/Predalien scenes.

SiL

Yes, that edit exists. No I don't have a link.

CANNON

Haha wow didn't know that was a thing, I'll have to look for that, may be entertaining.

Predator is easily in my top 5 movies. Great film, some great dialog. Big fan.

Absolutely agreed.

Hard to tell, it depends of your mood and what's happening in your life at the moment.Plus the nostalgia, each times I watch Predator it gets me back to what my life was during the late eighties when I saw it the first time. I guess Blade Runner with voice over narration  is the best of all times.

CANNON

Good pick, Blade runner is also great although Predator for me holds a special place in my heart.

BigDaddyJohn

It was always impossible for me to pick just one favorite movie of all time. Hell I couldn't even pick ten.

But for sure it would be very high on the list, just like the first three alien films.
