Hot Toys pre-orders for Scorched are ready.
In the pictures I saw in my trusted shop, the figure looks a bit colorless, almost only shades of gray.
But that could also just be the lighting in photography.
In any case, the thing is really big.
You can replace the dome.
Battle Damage and normal.
After first viewing it, the movable facehugger reminds me more of an AvP or A4 facehugger.
The base has LED lighting and additionally a few hive growths.
I will definitely pre-order this.

The Xenomorphs had such an amazing design in Romulus and this figure is very accurate, almost like it came straight out of the screen. Pre-ordered.

Yoo is it just me or does this design look way better here then it does in the movie. Scratch that the design is the same (flawless). And as I looked I realized that Scorchy was shot horribly in the movie. At least here he actually stands! (He does once in the movie but it's behind Kay therefore blurred out) All he did in the movie was crawl and climb....

That does look amazing... It really makes me appreciate how good the Neca figure looks for the price. Both are beautiful.

Yeah I just haven't purchased one in a while, use to have all the AVP ones (not the 2.0 versions) as well as some of the other Alien warriors, dog alien, and big chap.

Probably got almost 2k worth of hot toys Alien and Predator figures stored away lol, I had built the collection up over a long period of time,
But even back then I don't think I paid more than 300 dollars for (what was considered then) super rare figures.

Inflation probably doesn't help but these figures do look way more dialed in as well opposed to the older ones so I'm sure for the extra money there might be some more detailed sculpting and materials, definitely looks like it from the pics!!

yes, the old versions all looked pretty bad. That's why I always rejected them.
If I buy figures like this from time to time, they have to be as film-accurate as possible.
Hot Toys can now do it much better.

By the way, Prime One recently announced not only the Scorched Xenomorph from Romulus, but also another Alien 3 Dog Alien version.
Looks absolutely awesome. But it will definitely be incredibly expensive again, which is why I unfortunately have to pass.
