Wow I don't know how I've never seen that NECA til now!! Looks so interesting. Would be cool if the dome was more translucent to reveal that ridge head underneath.

But bummer I hope that doc shows up one day with the pictures in it!

anyone got any pics of Lambert being bitten in the face by the alien, i saw them in a book about alien years ago and i not been able to find em since

I didn't know such a picture even existed, I would like to see it too. All pictures of Lambert's death scene are rare.

Back tubes on and off again.

Apparently this happened during the confusing production of A3.

When Fincher was presented with the dog alien there were no tubes on its back. Fincher is said to have asked for them, so they were made and installed for that purpose.
but then he didn't like it and they were finally removed.

Can anyone confirm this or are there any photos of it???

AvPG asked the ADI guys this very question (because @SM  asked) and they said this wasn't true and at no point did it have the tubes.

But I always wondered whether that was true, because there is not a single reference to it.
It was never mentioned in any making of, let alone photos.

And it was actually Giger who said that he didn't like the tubes very much.

There is a drawing by him (I think it was during the production phase of A3) with a note:
stupid tubes that only serve to support the weight of the long head.

I personally like the tubes but they would actually be rather inappropriate in the design of the dog alien
