This took a turn!
See what you started? I kid! Ideas along those lines have been in the back of my brain for a very long time. But what I imagine could never happen, and particularly not with Disney owning everything. I could probably make it into a fan project like what you've done with Predator. That will be fun for me until the cease and desist arrives. >_>
Now that would be a fun read!

Or perhaps integrated in Star Wars universe, where the Alien becomes a Sith machination and the Predators are a race of bounty hunters from the Galactic Rim...
It all makes sense now !

If I'd have to choose, I'd rather choose to sacrifice Alien to Star Wars than to Marvel

All things cinematic projects of ALIENS is wishful thinking at this point, especially as Disney has made no announcements.

Fun listen fellas! Looking to 2021 we already know we have 2 new Alien novels coming from Titan and hopefully that trend continues as I've really enjoyed consistently reading new A/P novels. Comics wise I'm confident that Marvel will give us at least one Aliens and one Predator series and potentially a crossover per year. Games: the new MMO hopefully releases next year and hopefully Hunting Grounds gets a single player mode but other than that I'm unsure if we'll see anything new on the game side of things for some time after that. I really hope the AVP anime gets green lit in the near future. Other than that I hope to see Alien or Predator get an 8-10 episode live action series in the near future. Regardless next year already looks promising so let's hope that bodes well for the future under Disney.
Same here. A series is really what I'd like to see in the future, for both franchises. For Predators, something maybe along the same line as "Predators", with perhaps a condensed Lost-like spin, with the objective being (like the movie) to return home. I think that could have potential.
I haven't listened to the podcast yet, but I do sense that Alien in particular has a bright future in the coming year
