You don't count Alien 3 ?
I count the WY crew

Absolutely but unfortunately we know now his story didn't end in '79. His chaos on the renaissance station should just be an over the top slaughter fest while hive building. I want to see the Chap realize he let Ripley off the hook one too many times and is pissed he got ejected into space and was taking a nap for that long. I would be okay with seeing him extremely over powered in the events leading up to his demise. It's the only way.

My curiosity got the better of me and I went digging concerning what would happen if you caught and threw a shark in a freshwater... and I found out it could actually survive for a period of a few hours to a few days.

The way osmoregulation works in sharks, it does not allow for switching between salt and fresh water unless the fish in question has adaptations to allow this. Some sharks, like the Bull shark, can adapt to brackish and fresh water but the Great White cannot do that. When moved to a freshwater environment, the osmotic pressure would cause water to enter their bodies, leading to a condition called osmotic stress. This can result in severe physiological issues and ultimately death. ;D

How they would transport sharks from boats/sea to the Colosseum is another matter though.

Quote from: PredBabe on Nov 03, 2024, 11:05:01 PMI hope they produce more of the 1/4 figures, I have Big Chap on backorder through Entertainment Earth but it does mention that it's not guaranteed they will restock. But yeah, I refuse to pay the secondary market prices.

Not that I'm a fan of A3 or the Runner Alien, but I'd like to see a 1/4 scale produced.

That Alien, in particular, has an incredible amount of surface detail that can only be fully realised in the larger scale.
didt that come out years ago?

Just Big Chap and ALIENS Warrior at the 1/4 scale.
sorry I was referring to bigchap, I didn't know they made a Warrior aswell.

Alien: Romulus, enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.  Loved the dynamic between the two leads, and was surprisingly invested in them by the end.

I hate to admit it, but somehow it's just an alien fan's copy-paste Alien movie with an "Evil Dead" setting. If the viewer likes the 80s teen slasher horror movie setting and a collection of different old alien movie scenes/things/features put together, Alien Romulus is probably good.

I personally always like original things, so in my eyes Romulus falls behind many existing Alien movies..but it doesn't rank last, that place is reserved with honor for Alien Resurrection.

A fantastic ride with great production value and visuals. two great lead characters that shape a strong emotional core in the story,

But burdened by some connections to the prequels and some unwelcome callbacks to earlier films.

All in all, a solid 8/10.
