I saw an interresting comment in the Alien Earth save yourself commentaries. The comment was " I definitely like the way they are presenting the Xeno as being fast and powerful like a freight train hitting you" That comment got me thinking.

How much would the Alien monsters weigh+. It seems they have an exoskeleton and as many knows a beetle it not weighing much but its damn strong. Maybe the Alien monsters bodys are like big beetles. If thats the case even the big chap might not weigh very much.

The only movie we see some impact on their weigh is in Alien 3, when the Dog alien comes down on a bed. It seems the alien is heavy but we dodnt know if it come head or feet first. My guess is it feet first but we dont know.

I,m thinking that the monsters may not weigh very much but they are very strong and well built so it would still felt alot if they hit a human. What do you think?

Xenotaris

I would imagine a xenomorph would be quiet heavy

DiabloGuapo

I'm guessing at least 400 pounds.

solace97

Any guesses @Local Trouble ?

Shinawi

Maybe heavier than a human, lighter than a Gallimimus.

Preydator

It's probably lighter than your mom average Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.

I think they mean if they are on a planet (roughly with earth gravity)

Well surely we'd have to take into consideration the saliva and egg count

BigDaddyJohn

Quite heavy. Minimum 350 pounds.

D8ton_Cracka

I would imagine they would need to be pretty light weight, maybe 180-200 pounds so that way they can move fast and silently, jump and scale walls.

426Buddy

Light as a feather, stiff as a board.
