I was surprised at how many matte lines aren't cleared up.

The Death Star battle feels much faster altogether in the SE.

The CGI ships look good from what I remember too.

Yep. Had a great story arc in the original DH EU comics.

Yes and I still have them too! Not in the greatest condition but some gems in there.

Quinlan Vos was big protagonist made up for the comics in the wake of TPM from memory. I'd long stopped reading the comics by the time RotS came out but I remember my ears pricking up when Obi-Wan mentioned him in the film.

I don't feel comfortable with a Palpatine call themselves a Skywalker, its like the Palpatines won by claiming the Skywalker name.

The Skywalker name doesn't have that good of a track record.

I don't mind the idea of her claiming the name as a choice rather than having everything pre-determined based on blood.

But it would have better I think if she just repeated the 'Just Rey' line from earlier in the film.

It would have been even better still if she said 'Rey Star Wars'.

u do know house palpatine was mostly nice sheev and his father were the only bad seeds we know of
