An A3 game mag review with "thick shifting plumes of impenetrable black smoke"

I have looked almost everywhere, including all of the Alien 3 video game reviews on the site and I cannot find a review i read 30 years ago with a line that I am almost sure was "thick shifting plumes of impenetrable black smoke". This was from an (english language) magazine in Europe (i was in UK/Ireland), and i'm fairly sure it was for Alien 3 and was referring to the flame thrower.

This has been driving me crazy for at least 20 years.

Please end my suffering.

Not my first obscure Google search, and I'm sure it won't be my last! Managed to find a couple of songs last year that I've been hunting for on and off for 30 years or so...
