This 100% feels like something that shouldn't have been released yet.

Looks like the very beggining of the show  :o

Xenomorph Nerd

The creature's silhouette at the end certainly looks a lot more like the ''dragon'' from Alien 3 than the bug creature from the teaser.

BigDaddyJohn

Yeah smaller head and silhouette.

That look interesting but in the teaser maybe there is a mysterious alien bug who try to fight of from a facehugger probably of course

Anyone else getting tired of the Nostromo-Alien-RetroFuture look? I want more of the Hadley's Hope industrial/commercial look, and what Cameron had going on in Aliens.

It's the same look.

Which would make zero sense given that this series is set before 'Alien' - why would it share the aesthetics from a setting 57 years after the events of that movie?

As said above, those two looks are more or less the same (which is why, IMO, when Romulus transfers from one style to the other as the characters move from the Remus module to the Romulus one, it doesn't really immediately register as hard as it was intended to).

That being said... the Alien look is really only one component of what Earth is going for. That's the overall aesthetic for Weyland-Yutani in this series, yeah, but by all accounts Prodigy is going to be an entirely different beast.

I've seen the film twice and I still don't notice any difference between the two halves of the station.

The Remus section is the 'Alien' era aesthetic, Romulus is the newer 'Aliens-esque' module. In honestly I don't think it was as well defined as they made out.. in fact the only 'Aliens' vibe I got was when they immediately left Romulus lab down the isolation-esque escalators and that corridor / platform they walk on in the promo photos before entering the hive gave some atmosphere processor vibes but beyond that, it was all 'isolation' to me.. 🤣

SiL

I know what it's meant to be, it's just when you put the aesthetics next to each other you end up with "corridor designed by Ron Cobb" transitioning into "other corridor designed by Ron Cobb"

honestly not. no.
I love this look and it can be quoted over and over again.
Alien Isolation did it perfectly without being boring and Romulus did the same.
And, it's the same base that was used in Aliens.
different location but same world with a few advancements.
Alien 3 then captured the mining part of this world beautifully.
