Steelbook. Sleeve on or sleeve off?

If like me you're very fussy about how your collection should look on the shelf, what do you do about the cardboard sleeves on your steelbooks? Keep them on/store them separately/bin them?

I try to be careful with the cardboard ones. It's the paper ones that are an absolute nuisance.

God don't get me started on those paper ones. I still have the paper back sheet for my Quadrilogy dvd.

I like how the Romulus sleeve protects the base from shelf scratches, but that flappy bit at the top bugs me.

yes absolutely.
I have a folder with all the packing stuff if it looks nice.
I even collect the inlay cards for the Neca Alien figures.
Definitely a bit crazy, but it's still okay

I've kept all the sleeves from my alien movies but dumped the packaging from my figures. I don't have the room. I wish I could've kept them.

I have the sleeve for exactly 2 Steelbooks and that's Ghost in the Shell (anime) and Event Horizon, because those sleeves are partially translucent and provide artwork that is enhanced by the underlying Steelbook case art.

All others go in the trash.
