I said it a few posted back but AvP for the Jaguar has the best ideas for an AvP game; a modern version would be amazing.

Also someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's the only time egg morphing has been used outside of the director's cut of Alien (and I'm guessing the RPGs lost that as an option?)

I thought it looked more like just cocooning hosts, rather than eggmorphing. But either way, it's an awesome concept and something I'd love to see more of.

Aside from Avp movie rumors is there anything in the foreseeable future with Avp? Comics or video games?

Unfortunately, literally nothing is planned that we know of. I doubt we'll hear anything about those until we get Badlands and Romulus 2. After that, who knows what's on the table. I hope we start seeing comics and games soon. I bet a comic will be the first new AvP thing we see eventually.

My guess is, a tiny hint of the Alien universe in the animated Predator film, and much more explicit allusions to it in Badlands.

After that, it's open season for the comics and what have you to begin tackling crossovers, and only a matter of time until AVP makes its way back on the big screen in some form or another.

All this being said – I do not see the Romulus sequel (and certainly not Earth) acknowledging the Predator side of the universe in any way.

Comics & Games are where it's at for me when it comes to AVP.

DarK Horse: Original series, Thicker Than Blood, Eternal

Games: AVP Classic 2000, AVP2, AVP (2010)

Really those are the top tier for me. I also love the AVP movies but if I'm looking to sell AVP as a successful concept, the former mentioned media would be what I'd point to.
