It says creatures, so I figure that it strongly suggests another world with it's own alien life.

This suits me perfectly fine! While I love Predators, it was overstuffed and didn't get the chance to really work with the new creatures it introduced - I'd love to see Badlands come along and play with something along that line. I just hope it gives them more time. I'd love to see the River Ghost make a theatrical return and expand on them more but I doubt that'll happen.

Yeah I guess we will have to wait and see what they do with Badlands. Personally when it comes to Predator films, I am more of a traditionalist myself where I value the original 87' film's anatomy and structure. I prefer the mystery of the Predator, his quiet dominance, present but not, stalking and learning from above, hunting his prey one at a time to the potential world/lore building and/or screen sharing of other creatures. Not saying it cant be done well but I prefer the original.

Just give me a solid Predator film with Winston's Pred design following the original films formula and Ill be very happy. I feel after everything we have had since the original films - less is more.

I have to disagree with you there. I don't want the original film over again. I do want to see the traditional Predator's design return - with different skin patterns or prosthetics or whatever - but I'm happy for them to continue to play with the actual story and setting and go off and do other things. Predator is extremely flexible and they should toy with where and what situations they drop them into.

If they can do that well and balance the film properly while giving us a Predator with the Winston design, Ill be all for it.
For me personally growing up watching the original film and the hunting style and nature of JH sort of defined what a Predator is to me and therefore I would love to see something similar to that approach again.

people are insane for asking for a predator that looks exactly like the classic one made by Winston, thank god fans are not making these movies.

BigDaddyJohn

Keep the Winston basis and add more personal features, that's where it's at.
