So, I got back to playing this again, and while I love it, I find the predator's sift-heal-sift juggle (it's what I call it anyways) annoying, I'd rather have it to where your energy recharges on it's own. Any mod or someone out there that can make one to fix this? if no, that's cool.
I agree, it also makes you absurdly OP.

Yeah really wish an alternative existed.
Step 1:
Give the plasma pistol and disc their own energy supply distinct from your main one. They can be recharged from yours manually or from human tech hardpoints, both of which should be fairly slow/vulnerable to do.
Step 2:
Make healing much slower.
Step 3:
Replace Energy Sift with fancy battery. Must be recharged from hardpoints as in step 1 after X uses (say, 3).
