I believe only a new AvP film could trigger a remastered 4K release with better color grading. Maybe one day.

Does anyone know if the Unrated edition has better lightning? I recall watching it on my phone and seeing everything well.

Another thing I like about AVPR is the return of the Aliens shrieks and death cries. I prefer that pitch to the Alien Covenant ones when the claw crushed the Xeno and the Truck impales it.

Another thing I like about AVPR is the facehuggers lose in the Forest and them going after the hunter and the boy. The rustling of bush leaves was terrifying.

I also like the Xenos killing the Guardsmen, its a well done scene, with blood mingling with the rain to cover windshields. The scene makes me wonder if the Brothers Straus wanted to do Colonial Marines film with the Predators in the future, but what hindered them was The Predalien, they wanted to feature it and AVP1 set it up already, allowing them to piece together a easier script since its a sequel to the first film.
