I'm happy to hear that there are 16 fight scenes as opposed to 3.....

That's the official number? If it is, then Im happy about that too.

Foundationman2

I'm happy that facehuggers actually have more than 2 seconds in the film.  :D

Came straight from Colin....

Xenomorphine

I think the ceiling/wall-crawling is done with physical effects, by the look of the lighting, but that one shot seems to beat what was similarly tried in 'Alien 3', by miles. Very impressive.

Ccoletta86

kinda off topic but do you think riots will break out if at the end of AVP-R, military preds armed with rapid-fire plasmacasters arrive to rescue wolf??

First, I thought the same thing, then started wondering, post-store clip mostly, about the QUALITY of the aforementioned fight sequences...

To be continued AFTER the movie is out... ;)

Yes, it is 'easy' now with CGI, but even with practical camera tricks, like shooting Tom crawling on the floor and reverse the camera so that he looks like up on the ceiling, or use CG to isolate that same shot or shots with Tom moving slightly different and use computers to place him on the ceiling and walls...

And that can be used always with the Alien as a man in suit, not as a CGI...At least, those shots could... ;D

Jim Cameron was a source of practical effects... I miss him...  :'(

AVATAR...AVATAR...AVATAR...better not suck...better not suck... ;D :D ;)

Ive wondered what counts as a fight.

Does each predator kill on the scout ship count as a fight individually?

Does the facehugger scene in the woods count as a fight?

Dark Passenger

I think some of them are fights, and some of them are just kill/interactions......

Major Alan Schaefer

Yes the wall crawling was nice...as long as its not an Alien 3 flashback (loved the concept hated the extacution)
