QuoteWhat will make Alien: Blackout stand out from other games in the market?

It's a premium single-player experience on mobile, which is rare enough in itself. Aside from having no in-app-purchases, it also means a higher quality experience than most people are used to seeing on mobile. And of course we hope it'll be the scariest game on your mobile device!

What parts of the game are you most excited to see the fans react to?

We're keen to see how well they think we've captured the feel of the original film as we really wanted to capture that for everyone! It's going to be exciting to see how players use the gameplay mechanics to help the crew survive since there are so many ways to accomplish this feat.

Will we see any familiar names/faces outside of Amanda Ripley?

There may be a couple of familiar names mentioned, but all the characters aside from Amanda are new ones.

Will the game have any micro-transactions?

No. This is a premium game without any micro-transactions.

Will the game have a clear end-point, or is it intended that players keep coming back to the game on a regular basis? If the game does have a clear end-point, how much playtime can we expect from Blackout?

The game does have a clear narrative end, but players will definitely be drawn to come back again and again to improve their skills, and even if they do make it to the end, it may be a result they'll want to come back and improve on later.

What was the best thing about working on a game set within the Alien universe?

We are just thrilled to able to work on a franchise that the entire development team have been fans of for many decades!
