I haven't seen the american one after I found out it was shot for shot, and the film makers essentially Took credit for the original. Ludacris.

Fair, i only saw the remake once and have stuck to the original when i want to see it again.

It would also form the perfect template for an Alien found footage movie.

I love that found footage documentary feel to films. It's immersive and could give viewers a different experience. We wouldn't know when the aliens are coming.

The Biomechanoid

I'm working on an Isolation found footage series exploring this concept. It takes advantage of the first person perspective, the lack of camera stability in VR mode and some fantastic filter effects. Editing is finished and I can confidently say it will have genuinely frightening moments that I wish we could see realized in a future Alien film.

I'm an enormous sucker for found footage, I'd love to see an Alien found footage movie.
