I don't see the problem with the Predator grabbing the Alien's tail, it's hardly implausible as long as it gets up quick and fights back.

avp- had essentially the same budget and had three preds. its hard to see how having multiple predatorsin this movie could have and should have been done.

the budget for avp was 45 mil the budget for this movie was 40 mil.....wow, big difference there  

and personally i prefer one great alien perfectly done to a ton of shitty ones.

Seemed like he took it by surprise to me, I couldn't see everything that was going on but the Predator seemed to quickly blast it before it could retaliate.
