Unpack the ZIP,

Put the 'All In One (AVP2) Folder' on ya desktop.

1: Mount the ISO to a Virtual CD Drive. PORTABLE WINCDEMU
2: Install CD1 first then CD2.
3: Apply 1.0.9.6 Update (English version)
4: Install SP1 Update
5: Install MP1 Update
6: Add the NO CD CRACK in your AvP2 directory/folder Replace with the current .exe
7: Make a shortcut to that avp2.exe to your desktop
8: Click avp2.exe and boom GAME SHOULD LAUNCH (NO MORE CD!)
9: Any problems/issues then pay us a visit @ www.avpunknown.com

UPON INSTALLING CD1/2

DirectX 8 setup will pop up (CHOOSE NO) if you choose yes and get an error then reinstall and choose no*

This is known to cause some error but not always

But thank you! I've wanted to play AVP2 for a while now, especially with all these Mods I've heard about I will most certainly download that.

PLEASE do not disturb God talking of hell's compression 

but it could be even smaller ,I note that we can reduce the file size, and inside there are some repetitions.

The aio version made by xmx is quite stable.
but it has a flaw is a bit tedious to install.
in short am convinced that we can do even better!

leaving aside the forbidden  topic  "masterserver"
but keeping in theme of the game setup.
the version made by olde is more simple to install (game and dlc same size only setup *.exe no iso & auto crack no cd).
this is just my opinion.
I hope in the future we will find a middle road.
for the good of the community ,no matter that the whole community is now divided.
who knows maybe one day everyone will buy again this ancient game.
for now what we can do is try to preserve.
and find a safe and easy way to share a piece of history also to the new generation of players
this regardless of copyright issues.

after dowload unzip the file
if you have Windows 10, you should be able to open the iso images and mount them without using external programs.
if you have an older os you will need to use an external program.
for exemple I have windows 7 and use the Daemon tools lite program.
for mount  virtual device an alternative way you can burn the disc.

Aliens vs. Predator 2

1-> Either mount AVP2_DISK1.iso/AVP2_DISK2.iso to virtual drive or burn
to CD and install.

note:
if the SETUP asks you to install the DX say no.
arrived in mid-installation you will be prompted to insert the second disc mount it or burn it and proceed.
arrived at end setup ask if you want to install gamespy say no.

2-> Run avp2_en_096.exe update patch

3-> Replace AVP2.exe in the games directory with the one provided
(Default for 32 bit os = C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2)
(Default for 64 bit os = C:\Program Files (x86)\Fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2)

Aliens versus Predator 2 - Primal Hunt
4-> Either mount AVP2_PH.iso to virtual drive or burn to CD and install.

note:
if ph setup ask do you want to register your copy say no

5-> Replace PrimalHunt.exe in the games directory with the one provided
(Default for 32 bit os = C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens versus Predator 2 - Primal Hunt)

in the unlikely event that your os is windows 8 / 8.1 you should force the game in window mode (to have a decent fps)
Now you are able to play all the single player campaigns ,game & dlc,
also have the tools to be able to draw (assuming if you know how to use them)
but you dont have support for multiplayer for now.

@Jp  I was talking about the setup of the game not the ms


summing olde setup 4 step vs aio in 5 steps

the only thing I do not like olde version is : it forces an install  to C drive

in practice AVP2 setup + 1.0.9.6 update + crack

conversely to aio that installs several sequentially set-up.

one could speak of only one setup but I'm talking about two very different set up between them.

I have in mind two very different setup between them have in common only a strange anomaly ,character ,black screen inusues, and in some cases more rare frizzing or audio problem.

I ran into a problem which I can't seem to solve, even after I re-installed the game three times I still run into.
Error can't lunch LITHTECH.EXE which doesn't seem to be installed no matter what I do, so can't get some help with this issue?
