They're not your typical aliens wanting to take over the world. They've been visiting Earth for centuries and never made a big fuss. They certainly have the technology and power to take over the entire planet if they wanted to, but they don't. They just stop by here and then, kill a few people and go home. They don't care to make a big impact or get noticed. That's pretty cool.
I just realized something. I was going to say it's weird given all this that they still don't care about being noticed because Anna saw him and he simply didn't care about her. But she didn't actually see him, she only saw him cloaked.
Though a lot more people saw the Predator in P2. Is their existence and presence even a secret anymore after P2? A few of those working in the van monitoring the Predator are still alive, and there's even evidence left. It's weird Predators (movie) acknowledged the 1987. events and used it as a reference, when 1997. events made a bigger impact and left more evidence.
But anyways, it's interesting they're so technologically advanced they can rule the world, but they don't care about that. They must think of us as dumb animals.
