Royce Vs Black Discussion ONLY, please :D

I have seen this movie 4 times now, so its safe to say that I enjoyed it very much.

I know many of you where looking forward to the Pred battle but me personally I was looking forward to the final confrontation between Royce and Black and frankly I believe that this is the weakest ascpect of the movie. It just felt rushed and tagged on, there was no build up at all. If Im honest, I actually prefered how it was described in the leaked script but for some reason they changed it slightly.

Pros:
- I like the \"fring of fire\" tactic employed by Royce followed by his hit and run tactic

Cons:
- No tense build up to it - who remember the tense build up before the Dutch vs Anytime fight? Thats what Im talking about
- Wish they kept the suprise element in the script - In the movie it is revealed that Royce never left when he appeared over the pit and rescued Issabelle but in the script it is revealed in a much better way when he suprise attacks Mr Black.

ALSO, I rememer in the script there was a moment when Black uses x-ray vision on the humans to check out their heart beats and only Royce maintained a steady heart rate. This was such a bad-ass moment, I wonder why they took it out!!

All the pros and cons that you have mentioned I loved and missed or wished were there. So I agree with you in every way. I also missed the steady heart moment as well. I also wished that they would have left the Predator Dogs in that scene as well, with Mr. Black coming back and finding them dead in their cages. They also should have left the bit were Mr. Black begins dialing in the self-destruct code in his wrist computer only for Royce to slice his forearm off as in the final film.
