Yes, and those nice animated 2D sprites seem more cinematic than any 3D models.

None of those old arcade games reached my country. 

My first experience was with Alien Trilogy, those facehuggers freaked me out.

Alien Trilogy and AvP2. I've only played a handful of the others and didn't really care for them.
