This was obviously never going to live up to or be better than the anime and I was a little disappointed seeing all of the negative reviews but I'm 2 episodes in so far and I'm enjoying it.

From what I've seen though I'd rather add the anime to my anime watch list (have never seen it before) than ever watch this live-action remake.
