They should have ended it after Saw III. I think the series is going to be worst after Saw 4!

That's how I felt after seeing SawIV... Okay, the ending was a surprise but that doesn't make it a good movie... I mean, they twisted the story in a way it can practically go on forever.
I don't know. But IV was the first Saw movie which left me with a disappointed feeling at the end.

Watched IV last night, and boy is it harsh. Very brutal and sick. I was disappionted with the twist at the end only because I had guessed it when I was watching III.  :P

Its funny looking back at the previous page and seeing all the comments of when the franchise is ending and here we are at number 10 . Saying that X is definitely better than a lot of the other entries, but I found myself asking the question of how much time passes between John realising he was conned to collecting his victims/ creating the traps because it seems like everything is all done within one night which is a stretch. The other thing is which cant be helped is how old Tobin is ( the guys now in his 80's) and I found that a little jarring after having watched Saw 1 last night and then X today and he is now 20 years older although chronologically X takes place after 1 but before 2. Besides that if you like Saw films you'll like this one.

I was thinking about the timeline too, I got the impression that Jigsaw realizes he's been conned, gets Amanda to Mexico ASAP, spends about a week setting up shop in the now-abandoned warehouse using whatever is available, then dispatches Amanda to abduct everyone while Hoffman does some detective stuff in the meantime.

Saw (heh) it this Thursday. Liked it quite a bit. My main criticism would be how movie tries to portray John Kramer as a semi-heroic figure which clashes with the fact he forces people to dismember themselves. Also that kid seemed like a studio note. And not nearly enough Billy The Puppet

Also it was almost empty showing, Which is nice I guess, 'cause there's less noise to distract you from the movie

I was the only one to stay for the mid-credits scene and only because I knew about it beforehand. Kinda annoying how they turn the lights on as soon as the credits start rolling

Not nearly as gruesome as I imagined it

Finally watched Saw VII/3D/The Final Chapter. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Is it a satisfying finale to 7 years of Saw saga ? Not so much. Is it a fun Saw movie you can have good time with if you don't take it too seriously ? I think so

I saw the new one at the weekend. Very different to the ones that came before it. Nice to see lots of Tobin Bell who is just wonderful in the role. I can't believe though that

Spoiler
the woman at the end survived given how bad she was. If there was anybody who should have been killed, it was her. It was kinda obvious that it was a whole setup for her to escape and then get caught out.
