For the main story, how long do you want it to last?

Definitely, im not too keen on short games that take me 2 hours to finish. For me, maybe a bit longer than KOTOR 1 and 2.
40 hours!...or more(oh, and thats 40 hours the 5th time u play it...not 40 hours the first time, then beat it in 10 the 2nd time)
I've been hoping it'll be like Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, go anywhere, do anything, tackle missions how you want, only alienized.

i think u r pushing it. i rather have a game that has great yet none repetitive gameplay style that is short than have something boring and play for 40 hours plus
Is Oblivion boring? I've put easily 400+ hours into that game, and still not bored.
ha, iv got about 370+ hours on pokemon diamond...hmm...maybe i shouldn't admit to that...

dont know, never played oblivion/kotor or any of the games they have released except for neverwinter knights, which i found extremely boring. however looks like they are making a new engine for both graphic and game play.
Trust me, get Oblivion, I still haven't found all the side quests!!

oh you mean elders scrolls! ya thats a good game (so i've heard) , i didnt know gearbox made the game.
oh well i did see my friend play it in his computer, it looked ok, although i dont think alien based style gameplay would work.
however because the game got such a good review i now have hope in this game. i'm sure the guy will make this game interesting as possible. :)
In Syphon Filter:Dark Mirror,there was about 4-5 hours worth of goodies.I hope the game lasts this long with some easter eggs..
Anyone remember the ACTUAL egg in Vice City?
Main quest - at least 40 hours.
Side quests - at least 400 hours.
Plus added content via Xbox Live and expansion packs. And the ability to transfer your stats from the first game to the sequel.
