Well, if they had done that it would've been even easier to separate AvP movies into its own franchise
they would probably be rationalized as aliens that come out of different otherworldly creatures.... (i hope)
This was for an earth bound story so no.
Queen could have been from a different creature and brought to earth's temple.
After all, she was meant to be ancient.
His warrior Aliens are just as spiky and weird.
I never understood the logic behind Johnson's pitch for AvP. He wants the job doing vfx, pitches wildly different takes on the creatures. Wildly.
As always though, curious to see these could-have-beens. Glad they never happened.
Even though I do like the art, I think we can all agree it is horrendous redesign of the classic Xenomorph Queen, like on the level of Godzilla 1998 kind of bad
