Yeah, but I might not have it done until tomorrow. If you just want the alien vision darker, I might be able to make a simple tweak to it in photoshop. I'm not sure how it will look in-game though.

I lowered the brightness somewhat on the alien vision:

It's still going to be bright in some areas. I only changed the intensity, and not what the gradient itself highlights.

looks much better! its shame that i can't do it myself  how you do than enyway?
Edit. checked in real game, realy nice! i notice te vision goes much brighter when i go in dark place, and much darker when im in good light, maby befero you change it the difference is not that visible. but still, looking good

The original is on the top half, and the darker version on the bottom.

The gradient file itself is a 256x128 dds file that I just opened in photoshop and went to image>adjustments>brightness/contrast and played around with that.

What you see above was my first attempt. If I push it much darker, the image in the game will become totally flat from lack of contrast.

I think the left of the image is dark, and the right side is bright lighting... I'm going to darken the left side much more and see how that looks.

I made it less bright in dark areas now.  You'll have to remove the (2) from the file name or change the lst file to get it to load.

Yes, I can also easily change the color like I did the intensity without changing the pattern of the gradient. I could make the vision red or blue, even.

I made 31c just by eyes...I don't really know if I can make those versions without it looking much different.
