CHEATS OUT FOR AVP 2010 (PC)

So it didn't take long before some morons decided to ruin this game completely. Over the last two days I've been playing with some friends and we are 100% sure that cheats have been added to this game. The most common is the melee block avoid cheat as we call it, block no longer affects LA when some idiots have this lame cheat enabled. Also I've seen people started to cheat in survivor mode, lucky I can prove this 100% ---> go and check leaderboards on survivor mode map: C BLOCK and see for yourself.

Also we have discovered that some of those same people we played with had enormous amounts of charged up shots on the plasmacaster, we counted 14 total all 4 of us, and we can be positive that they didn't recharge as we camped those generators while 1 poor soul ran around as bait and counted

I think we actually found some of it on youtube, gonna see if I can find it and come back to prove it.

It wouldn't be a problem if we had dedicated servers for ranked matches and something like Punkbuster - but I guess rebellion never thought of that...

2 Months before even the first incling of people cheating online? Sounds like a damn good attempt at stopping it to me. I'd like to see the so called proof too though, so any youtube vids would be awesome.

However, i have witnessed no cheating by now, and sometimes people who cheat can add some weird kind of joy to a multiplayermatch. But yeah, Punkbuster would be cool.

And I don't doubt for a second there is an aim bot or god mod out or on its way soon. Something like OP says is more then likely true. My videos are proof enough they've already found ways of doing so, even for consoles as well.

cheats are in every game dude and if they haven't been fixed yet how there is no way rebellion will be able to this is up to steam seeing how steam uses their own anti cheat system.Nothing we can do really because us non cheaters have been fighting cheaters for over 7-10 years still we can't stop it.

Since this post popped up I've been hunting round the net and the only hacks that are "working" require re-setting up each time they die, theres no way they can butcher a game easily if they have to minimise and re-hack every time they re-spawn.

Offline hacks are irrelevant, i didnt say all hacks are irrelevent.
Yes its always possible that something shown offline could work online, but as in theory you can re-write the whole codebase offline its a moot point, there will ALWAYS be loads of hacks offline and we have to concentrate on those that are proven online.

You will notice in the video linked that every time he dies the video stops and the game time jumps by a minute or so. Thats because he is having to minimise and find the new memory address. In a real game that would just result in death.
