Pretty excited for that trailer. The reaction at Cinemacon was pretty good. Blumhouse is the perfect place for this franchise. They've got this, Spawn, now all they need to do is purchase the rights for the Crow and that movie could finally be made lol.

Lol Dimension will never let The Crow go. They only lost Halloween by sheer chance. We'll get the Crow equivalent of Hellraiser Revelation before that happens.

I know. Still, Blumhouse is killing it so they would be the perfect home for it at this point.

So is this movie ignoring Halloween 2?

Yes, the only movie that is canon is the original. So Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are no longer related.

And thank Christ for that.

Halloween 2 was good though.

It's good, but the sister angle has always been pretty weak.

The cinema-con trailer description mentioned that there's a line in the trailer that was shown where some kids walk past Laurie and one of them whispers "Wasn't Michael Myers her brother?" and the other kid says "No that was just a rumour", something along those lines anyways. So it cancels all the films past the original. Which I really like.

Does it ignore the end of the first film too?
