So it was in reference to the Japanese release; I thought it might have been the fan-made translation that I think is still a work-in-progress...

I loved Steve Perry's trilogy as a kid but I'd love it more if (1) it was original and not a novelization and (2) if it had adapted the original story instead of the Billie/Wilks revisions. Recently Titan's been knocking it out of the park and I've especially loved Alex White's novels. I guess I missed the line of Dark Horse originals in between the comics adaptations and the current Titan license, though there are a few I'll probably check out.
