Hmm guess maybe I didn't understand correctly but I thought the regular 2D Blu Ray had pretty much all the extras that the 3D release had. This seems far from the truth after checking this out.....

So the 3 hour making-of is only on the 3D release? Laaaaaaame.

Ok, so in whose interest is having the 3D blu-ray the only one with the 3 hour making of? Do Fox have shares in the sales of 3D TVs?

Do many people have or want a 3D TV/player?

Transformers and avatar did this two. the 3d version is only $5 more than the standard version.

Can the 3D version be played in non-3D too?

You get a separate 2D blu-ray with the 3D package.

3 discs.

1) 3D film blu-ray
2) 2D film blu-ray, includes deleted and alternate scenes, viral videos
3) blu-ray bonus disc with the documentary

According to the artwork, there won't be a DVD copy with either Blu-ray release for the UK. Just a digital copy.

Yep! It was announced this morning. If you want ALL the bonus material, you have to get the UK 3 disc Collector's Edition. The 2D movie disc contains the deleted scenes regardless of what package you pick up.

Strange, why is the UK the only country that doesn't get a DVD in the set?
And in all other countries sets the DigitalCopy is supposed to be on the DVD disc itself, so where will it be on in the UK sets?

I would really like to get a set with a DVD.

Will the Play.com exclusive steelbook have all the bonus material? Because it comes with the 3D dsic.

So much confusion, it's really annoying.

I don't know about the steelbook I'm afraid! If you're really concerned about it all, I suggest you wait until people get their copies and then you'll know for sure. It's just another week to go :)

I am tending to buy a french set, because it comes with a DVD,
but it was the french DVD that leaked online some time ago and it had a lot of foreign language audio tracks but no commentaries.
Now I wonder if all DVDs will be like that or if it is just the european or if it is just the french DVD.
