I haven't heard this.    When is the final day to get ammo?

Just announced this morning. They're putting signs up in stores to alert customers of the policy change.

From what I've read, they're finishing out the contracts first. I don't when the last day will be, but I imagine it's already getting bought up. I imagine a lot of guys are hauling @$$ in there today.

Every round I ever bought from them was junk though. So I honestly don't care. But I believe they account for  20% of ammo sales. So how this will effect price is up in the air. I'd hope mom and pop stores don't start gouging.

That's where I bought all of my range ammo (never had any issues).  However, they always carried limited supply of the .223/5.56 so I'm sure they're sold out, but, I'll give it a shot today.

The only thing I'm worried about is the price increase that the LGS's are going to hit us with.

Ol' Wally was able to buy in bulk, and then pass the discount onto the customers. I imagine soon we'll be seeing $12 for a pack of CCI, $16 for 9mm and $35+ for .357.

Cabelas increased their ammo prices online about a year ago. I worry somewhat. Shooting shouldn't be a rich man's sport.

Yep. It's backdoor gun control and it's been coming for awhile. That's why I'm hoping to get into reloading next year. I wish they offered courses on it, maybe they do.

There are only 2 little shops in my area to get ammo, and one gouges ridiculously on everything. I ended buying my Gp100 from the other shop for $700 even, out the door with tax and the BGC. The store that gouged quoted me $875 before tax and everything. If I had bought it from them, it would've been a $1,000 gun.

Its the same place Jeff over at Gunblast gets his guns. Our families go back a ways. Boge is a good dude. He's played at the funerals of several of my family members. That guy can play like nobody's business.
