People have often asked what Ridley Scott thought of all the other Alien films:

"Alien 1, I'll say was, by far the best. What followed was Jim's. That was okay. The other two were kind of adequate" - Ridley Scott

When he said "the other two were kind of adequate", did he mean Prometheus & Alien: Covenant?

;D

When Aliens gets re-released on 4k, they should use "...was okay" - Ridley Scott, as the pull quote on the cover.

Or if they release Alien: Resurrection again, plaster it all over with; "kind of adequate" - Ridley Scott. Which is probably the highest praise the film has ever received.

This is such a coincidence. I was at a small comic show this past weekend and mentioned Dan O'Bannon to one of the vendors. They said Dark Star was one of their favorite films. I tend to have tunnel vision and forget that creative talents extended beyond their ALIEN contributions.

And no one can tell me otherwise!
