No directors cut, onyl deleted scenes in the bonus contet, RR said it in that press conference, they liked the theatrical version.

Didn't know that, that is still pretty cool that they stand by their movie in that fashion.

The opening scene in the leaked script was never filmed the prequel comics show the opening the movie picks up after that and the sequel comic will pick up after the movie

Yeah. It was one of my gripes in the review. But he is much better written than in the draft we've all read. I actually enjoyed Fishburne and how he ended up. Just his death was OTT and sucked.

Noland death is just plain retarded. Do they even bother to explain why someone who has survived for 20yrs be stupid enough to build a fire outside his secret hiding place and give away his position! Its so random.

So they have stuck pretty close to the leaked script, which is good imo (apart from Nolands death). I assume the ending is also the same as well - the one where its just ends randomly, with Isabelle saying to Royce "what now" (Fade to black)!

Actually Nolan is schizophrenic and portrayed as crazy. He's arguing with himself over why he even talked to them as he does it. I really really liked it. They showed just how shit your options on the planet were. Die or turn into Nolan. The ending is better, new parachutes drop in and Royce is just like "Let's find a way off this rock".
