I absolutely love how they are putting the roar of the pred in every single trailer and tv spot, it just adds a feeling of pure awesomeness. The roar is so freaking amazing, its terrifying and badass!!! What an awesome character!

I suspect that roar was the original pred roar slotted into the trailer, though I really really hope it is in the final film, it truly is an epic spine tingling roar.

i hope they make a different kind of roar for the super preds, not to different but just something to make the difference between the breeds. Like mixing the sound with a creepy high tone or something.

if they want to show that the new preds are a stronger and more dangerous breed they should really change the roar abit, not to much just a little bit of mimicing with some tones or something.

The trailer that twice plays the roaring BSP-with-spine scene has already made me tired of the roar and I sincerely hope a single roar isn't reused for the various preds in the film.
I hope the dying roar of Pussyface its added too,I really love it,sometimes I put t he movie just for that scene,the way it echoes its scary and badass.

exactly, the preds in part 1 and 2 sound very different, but you can tell that the pred 2 voice evolved from what the pred 1 roar was. They just changed it up a bit, and i liked it :)

The roar is the original, the best and most badass. p2 roars were cool and such too (avp, avpr, bah...). But as this movie is a try to reboot and bring interest of the viewers back, it has to have the original roar. Has to. Bsp can have different of course, even Classic can have new type of roar as well. But only with the original.
AvP's Roar wasn't that bad come on.
i thought it was pretty good i mean the only thing that bothered me was the face when he makes the roar sound :'(

What is the roar? If I remember correctly it is a lion, bear, and something else like, crocodile combined together. So they could make a lot of different kick ass roars. I don't see a problem! :)

Well, I was counting it with avp-r for the sake of simplicity in my post, but I'm not that keen on with it. Not that i hate it, but avp always reminds me of the deep, lion like growls of presd, which is totally not fitting, and it makes it's marks on every sound. Which are not always bad, but still, compared to the first two movies, I think they just can't reach me.
