A full convert of a map from avp2 to VMF. you'll be facing all sorts of obstacles, as avp2 maps have lots of triggers/ai built into them or the mapper has put custom textures/sounds on them.

if it does work? I can guarantee you.. the map will be broken. (As Dedit is a harsh reality) 


BUT

There are avp2 maps made for the source on steam workshop.

I guess you could use them and give the author credit.

what about taking the meshes and textures and structures from the map? the reason is, doom 3 bfg VR mod, which is a fan made mod, is the best looking VR game I have EVER played.

the new games dont look as good I think older map worlds will look better
