My first two consoles were a Playstation one (Brand freaking new) and a gameboy (Came wifh Tetris and Pokemon Blue) Also had a computer with three games on it Connect four, chess and DOOM. I'm surprised to this very day my PsOne is still in great shape.

Do you mean PlayStation one, or a PlayStation, because they are different things.

If I may ask what's the difference? The box mine came in has PsOne on it.

The PSone was a rebranding and redesign, basically the slim equivalent. Also you could get a detachable screen.

KNIGHT

Wish I knew about that detachable screen when I was a kid.

Would have made those six hour car trips I seemed to have to go on all the time a lot more enjoyable.

It was released quite a few years after the PSOne was released. As I recall by the time it was mass produced, the PS2 was already hitting store shelves.

i think the screens came out rather late in the cycle, you could get them for PS2 too though,

it would be cool if they did one for the PS3, but they are not really designed for small screen gaming anymore, the best you can get is the way too expensive Playstation 3D Monitor which is only 24 inches. but it's over £300

PREDATOR-HUNTER_2168

I started on the 4th generation :)

Valaquen

I distinctly remember a Sega or maybe Gamesmaster (the show) advert where a kid's eyes fly out of his head and get stuck to the TV screen. I can't find it anywhere but eyeballs flying out of their sockets due to gaming seemed like a legitimate danger when I was a kid :P

Effectz

Flimbo's quest was my first game I remember playing for Commodore 64.
