Well I mean sure, but it's not like it's a lot of planets in the old RPG.

Local Trouble

Does it still have an actual planet named Weyland-Yutani?

Will you have space on the bookshelf for this?

It'll take some rearranging, but I'll make it happen.

Did you make it happen yet?

Local Trouble

The RPG give us any more information about Thedus?

Xenomrph

I thought you were going to buy a copy

Local Trouble

Nah, I don't do physical media.  I don't even own a bookcase.

Corporal Hicks

I believe you get a digital copy when you buy the book - from Free League, at least.

HuDaFuK

Yeah, order from their site and they give you a pdf version as an extra.

I believe they also sell just the digital version on its own, as well.

Just got the word back, according to Andrew E. C. Gaska, Alien The RPG is part of continuity and canon.

The Cruentus

Interesting, Can you ask him about the game mechanics side of it though, as such gameplay mechanics usually compromise continuity and lore for the sake of balance.  Out of curiosity, what did he say exactly anyway?

I asked if Alien The RPG is part of the continuity and canon. He replied with "Yes" noting specifically the way the Praetorian Guard and Praetorian Charger Alien stages begin to exist is subject to change and the distinction between the Drone/Runner and Warrior/Defender stages is subject to change. Also the existence of the "Worker" and Royal Jelly in general is contentious.

The Cruentus

Interesting. So what part of the RPG lore is fixed exactly.
