This was made before the movie came out.

A 2d concept, that is inspired by the original Alien design and upcoming Prometheus movie.
I called this kind of Xenomorph "a Bastard King" as the idea is that it's an Alien creature that is the result of facehugger's impregnating another alien which would lead to developing an alternative to an Alien Queen – a "Bastard" King. Unlike an Alien Queen, "a Bastard King" doesn't need to lay eggs because he's capable of growing adult facehuggers in the "chambers" of the back of his head. So he delivers his "cargo" straight to his victims... Also unlike Queen design I didn't want to make him looking insectoidish and  tried to maintain more of anthropomorphic structure of the body as it's personally for me is a bit more mysterious and more creepy as you can relate to it on a humanoid level. -Bulgarov-

Alrights. Finally got around to taking some pictures of the Hammerpede and Ampule. This actually does function which makes for some good screams and laughs especially when you have to reload the thing. (snake in a can mounted to the upper and lower part of the ampule.)
