tried to subtly make the sarcophagus thingies more rough and texture and less plastic looking, and the obvious change to Mr Blue man

love it  ;D

Weeell..... that's actually an effect I added to the overall image to make it just a bit 'hazy/trembling' to sort of reflect Shaws mental state in that exact moment... Nice spotted  ;)

Oh - scratch that! You're right - it's without a doubt TinyPics fault  ;D

PhotoBucket gives me troubles from time to time (just because it's me without a doubt), so I'm not going that route right now...

Hmmm...Yutani Corporation has had an update...looks a lot more like the Yutani part of the Weyland Yutani logo we're used to...and note the star map image.

Still wondering the validity of this website...

If Mr. Blue really looked like that, I would bet that the design would get laughed at by the entire ALIEN fandom. The Jockey's being humanoid was absolutely the best decision Ridley and his conceptual team could have made. I can't wait for 'The Art of Prometheus' book.

I saw your name, Cvalda, on this thread and was about to post, "an optimist vs a realist."

I didn't expect you two to agree! Or am I missing sarcasm here...

Apparently the people who designed this website also designed the weyland industries one before it was sold to fox.

What makes you think so?
Just because they owned the URL at some point in the past doesn't indicate any relations at all between the designs or the companies involved.

I'm not sure about this.

I think there's much more behind this... we just cant see it yet...

look at this skull

now, look at this helmet

They dont look the same at all. The skull looks like a real skull, from a real creature that looks like that.
It has eye sockets with holes in it, strange patterns on the side, etc... and the "helmet" doesnt.

Look, i put some arrows to show all the differences between them:

The helmet have these strangers bulges on the side, big black eyes and even a ear...

I dont know what think about this, but i think the skull is from a "real" spacejockey wich looks like a real "tapir" thing  :o

First: The skull or mask (or whatever it is) has probably been sitting in the dust for whoknows how long.

Second: The other Jockey is quite alive/active.

Third: The first picture of the "skull" you posted is a totally photo-chopped image and doesn't look anything in detail like the actuall thing in the movie.

So I think your comparsion isn't very valid.

A potential difference in the helmet designs, could be attributed to my theory that the chair-helmet along with parts of the suit, is actually part of the chair, while the helmet they bring back isn't. Take a closer look:
