Anyone else play as Erron? Or dabble with him?
He's my main, and Sub-Zero is my secondary. I always see YouTube vids of people whining to NRS about nerfing him, but I honestly think people need to learn how to guard.
I play a lot of Jade, with some Skarlet thrown in for flavor once in a while.
the three characters I play the most are Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Erron Black.
I've tried Geras though recently and he's kind of fun.

D'Vorah's fatalities are gross but a lot of fun to use.
Been wanting to play as Cetrion more though, I don't see her very often, even in AI Battle.
Skarlet or Johnny Cage for me. I like to fight at range normally, and these two have the best move sets for it imo.

I just can't get into MK11. Not sure why. I like the gameplay and how colourful it is, but for whatever reason I don't have the drive to go back to it. I spent way more time with MKX.

I'd say some of the most seminal characters from horror films are a better fit than a Billy the Kid wannabe. ;)
Erron Black is hilarious, and he's a ton of fun to watch with his trick-shots and whatnot. I mean this is a series that mashes together ninjas, literal gods, cyborgs, martial artists, monsters, a police officer, special forces soldiers, and all kinds of other wacky shit, I'm extremely okay with a literal cowboy tossed into the mix for good measure.
I feel that with all the goofy shit that has existed in MK since the beggining..............a cowboy shouldn't bother anybody.
I mean they already had Indians.
I think it's more to do with how his character has been done, not necessarily the fact he's a cowboy. I'm not really a fan of him, myself. Personally, I think "cowboy", I think Clint Eastwood, so there's no way Erron Black will measure up in my eyes. :laugh:
I finally got the maskless Sub-Zero gear in Towers of Time. I like still love his model for this game, though I miss the glowing eyes from MK10.

So I'm an idiot and playing ranked this season because doing challenges actually gets me a skin for Erron, instead of trying to rank up to demi god to get it. Because man do I suck. I am currently 2/28 in this season. But I just need to finish spilling 10,000 pints of blood, and then do 5 sets once a day to finally be done with Kombat League.
I mean I fight hard, but I can't win. Either because my opponent finally stopped holding back when he realized he wasn't beating up on a preschooler, or decided to spam projectiles. :laugh:
I know, I love Erron... a lot. I'm ride or die for him. But Sub and Scorpion though, man they're attractive without the masks. :P :laugh:

Well, other than Jason, that may be the most fully realized DLC character in a MK yet. Wow.
Love how the Terminator loses his skin when scorpion flames him. The death move was pretty cool as well.
Not particularly impressed with the T-800. The moves feel a bit stock to me and the voice sounds more like somebody giving an impression more than it sounds like Arnold. Of all times they could get creative with it, I feel like they could've done more.
Hope he has more skins and guns from the previous movies.

I love how MK11 is a little bit slower than MKX so you can appreciate the fights/combos so much more.
The final boss is cheap wank. Like Kintaro cheap. You just basically hope the AI decides to stand still enough to beat her.

Still haven't beaten her in story but I have in the different ladders (as Scorpion, Johnny Cage and Erron) and yeah, she can be a bit of a pain.
Finished Aftermath. It was cool. I'm very curious to see where the series goes from here with what Ed Boon said recently about this being the end of the story

You are correct that in order to open all the locations here, you need to find all the key elements of MK11 Krypt. Some of the key items have a specific purpose to help solve the riddle of the Elder God. When you place these amulets in the slots and activate the levers, you solve the Elder God Riddle, get 5000 coins and open a new passage.
