Because it's funny to see exactly how bad it will be by all these photos. Just look at them, Darkness. I always thought you had common sense (especially after AvP), but I guess you're just living in denial like everyone else here.  Hope the truth doesn't hurt too much when you see it.

They're not as bad as you're making them out to be. But I'm not stupid either. Did you really expect the hybrid to be absolutely perfect?

Darkness is right if u realy dislike this, go away, real fans dont care for ur opinion if evrythings gunna b negative...sure evryone had their own personal image of it but this was the final sculpt....deel wif it!

@ermac go and play some mortal kombat and stop moaning like a 10-year-old. I think the brothers did a great job, as far as I can tell by the stuff I've seen.

I think it's you that should go and play Mortal Kombat and watch more episodes of Will & Grace if you think anything we've seen is worthy of the Alien and Predator name.

I really don't mind the design, when compared to something as atrocious as the Newborn, but I think the problem is that the Predalien has TOO MANY of the Predator's traits. I mean, look at the dog Alien in Alien 3. Did it have whiskers? Floppy ears? They just didn't need to tack on *so many* things to the Predalien's design. Go ahead and make it unique in what it can do, but don't over-dress the salad.

Ermac is taking this matter seriously, a true delusional fan if you ask me, it's avp man, of course it's not going to stay true to the originals, we all saw that in AVP at least in AVPR we are seeing improvement, and if you can't see that and appreciate it, then I really don't know why you even care anymore.

Everything you said in that comment, ShadowPred proves how little you care for either franchise. What's so delusional about being dedicated to the integrity of the original franchise. "Oh, let's just go about this movie cock-handedly. Who cares, though, it's just a movie."

I think chet looks amazing...not perfect but still damn good! its diferent to what we have seen in previous alien movies and it defintely scary! She will look alot better in the movie. I have more faith in this movie than the original (avp). Because the bros are fans and the movie is r rated..and the bros wanna take it back to the roots.  Lets just wait and see...and stop the arguing.  May the force be with you

The only complaint iv'e got is...the bros are showing too much! would have been good to have seen the movie, too fully see the pred-alien...oh well    :D  

Look Ermac I am not trying to say that i don't care about the franchises, all I am saying is that you shouldn't expect these guys to get these iconic characters to look and act the same as they did a long time ago, it's hard to accept that it's not going to be the same ever or for a very long time, but at least appreciate the fact that we are even getting a sequel to a crappy film that is dead set on at least improving on AVP.

P.S ive got a question..how can the wolf (what a great name.lol) or any predator see a alien without his mask, as alien dont give off heat...because paul anderson was knocked for this (among other things) in AVP  Thanx!

I think the predalien looks cool. could have been better. 9/10.   AVP-R is going to be way better than AVP

Looks sick! Warghost has a point though, the predalien might be a little over done on the predator side, but I still love it. 9/10 for sure.

Sorry about that Optimus Virus 2 months for the USA and 3 months for the UK. two to one thought the film will probably do even better in the UK than here in the USA.

my views on this: The translucent cowl is perfect. I don't mind the mandibles. I can live with the yellowish color. but the dreadlocks? they look so bad. The way they stick out the side of the head, makes them look extremely rubbery and rigid. If the must have dreads, they should droop down like a predators do. also, how come no one is discussing the new method of impregnation? its a really big change...

Chet looks alot better than I expected; not so sure about the new breeding method though. It just doesn't make since!

Looks FINE to me. I didnt like the big/bulk body of the PredAlien. I also didnt like the idea of giving it realy dig dreadlocks.   :-\  

It's just good 2 see something new... aliens vs predator is like sex, drugs, and rock n roll, I take what I can get! So what if Chets breast plate looks like a facehugger!  So what if Wolfs face looks a little like Scar! So what if the acting is a little Dawsons creek! I miss the disk over the shurukin, but damm this movie looks sweet!

It looks like utter shite and perfectly completes the humiliation of these two franchises.

Um, lighting a wee strange for an alien? Coloration could be a little better too, but as far as design goes can't really beat it. And Ermac, for saying "it's just a movie" you sure do seem to be getting quite upset over what the people you don't even care about say. Just saying.

I think the directors should have thought about this creature a little more carefully. One, they are mixing two of the greatest horror monsters of all time.  And personally it looks like they just added mannibals and dreadlocks to an  alien.  I think this movie will be good but I think this will be a big blow because they did a bad job on this.

I hate to join the ranks for th nay sayers... but first I want to say that really think that Chet looks pretty damn cool.  But...  I do take issue with his hands.  Yes I'm a picky bitch.  I just don't think anything on the aliens should ever be bulky.  The aren't thick and meaty monsters.  ADI keeps designing the aliens with these bulky clumsy in articulate hands.  I preferred the spindly fingers look in Aliens.  And yes, I do think that the aliens are still a little too fleshy.  I repeat, though, I still think the aliens in the movies, in particular Chet, look very cool.  I just am picky.

Personally, I think the Predalien is a good concept simply for a change of pace. I have more of a problem with the actual drones in this film from what ive seen so far because those things will just never look as terrifying as the originals (alien and aliens). So lets see how this sucker will play in the movie when we all see it!

A drone/warrior transforming into a queen is stupid...  but my idea would be   the pred-alien has the ability to vomit an embryo into a host for a short period of time, hoping one of the host chest burst's a queen..that would be sensible. the pred-alien would only be able to vomit embryo's for short period of time tho...and it's not a queen its simply got this reproductive method somehow thru the predator DNA now thats way better   What u guys think?   Rock On!

The way the PREDATORS Reproduce is maybe by regergtating in a females mouth and the characteristics of the predalien is the same
