Total Recall (1990)

Having seen both this and the remake, I think I like them both about equally. I felt more connected to the characters in this movie, while I enjoyed the Earth setting (especially The Fall), the look and Lori more in the new one. On the other hand, while Beckinsale played the more interesting character, it's hard to rival Sharon Stone when it comes to looks.
I was pleasantly surprised with the new Total Recall. I wasn't expecting much, but it hit a lot of the right notes for me. The Fall was a pretty cool concept, that I felt was unique enough to give the film its own identity. And the action sequences were nicely scripted. Like for example; the Zero-G fight in the Fall during the last act, or even the multiple elevator sequence.

An alright movie, for something that is about 100 minutes or so, it's was ok, was expecting something better, but as all the films my Heston I've seen so far, the ending was up to par.

Not the best animated film I've seen all year, but I definitely enjoyed it.
